The original company was started in 1946 by Tom Wealleans. In 1967 Wealleans procured a distribution agreement with the Atlantic Motor Oil company to service the rural farm fuel requirements of farmers and small contractors in the Matamata area.
The next generation of the Wealleans family took every opportunity to expand the distribution area in an effort to provide a wider variety of customers with combined fertiliser & lime supply, groundspreading services and farm fuel & oil delivery.
The rewards came and in 1995 Wealleans Petroleum Distributors Ltd was appointed as a full time Mobil Industrial & Wholesale distributor.
Today in 2011 Wealleans are still proud to be the local Mobil distributor with a strong understanding of our rural customer's requirements. Wealleans Petroleum offers direct sales of delivered fuels, oils & grease lubricants to an ever expanding range of rural clients from the Kaimai ranges in the North East of the Waikato, West to the Waikato River, Karapiro, Matamata, Tokoroa, Reporoa and both sides of Lakes Rotorua & Taupo. We even service South to Turangi and West up onto the Rangitaiki Plateau.
Our modern tanker fleet of 4 truck & trailer units service between 80% and 95% of the farmers, transport operators and rural contractors in our distribution area.

Pricing
Wealleans purchase directly from the source. No additional "middle man", vendor or agency fees are applied to the cost of our fuel. This means we can purchase, load and delivery any quantity to you efficiently, reliably and at a competitive price.
Fuel Prices are fixed for the week and adjustments take place weekly - every Friday.
Trading Accounts & Terms of Payment
Our business is service. In fact we believe that we supply the best service for the best customer - all day every day. Central to this we offer our customers a trading account which allows purchasing of fuel & oil on account. You then have the flexibility to manage your fuel payments inline with your other suppliers.
We are in business - just like you. We offer you several solutions in which you can pay for your fuel & oil.

Petrol Rebates
If you are a farm trade customer and have petrol powered machinery on you farm you can file a claim to have the Government excise petrol duty rebated back to you. We will provide you with Quarterly Reports of Petrol Volumes to assist with your claim.
On Farm Fuel & Oil Storage
Some of our customers have fuel storage which they have had for years. Most farms have increased in size and the number of machines on farms has increased as well. Ask us for advice on your requirements. After analysis you may find that the fuel used by the machinery on your farm exceeds your current storage capability.
Wealleans can assist you with new and used fuel storage tanks in the range of sizes.
Also available, we sell: Home heat tanks; Bulk Tanks; Ute Tanks; Trailer Tanks for Diesel.
All tanks will be DELIVERED AND INSTALLED by our specialist, to ERMA Compliance Standards.
Safety, Compliance & Environmental Advice
Under Government regulations, everybody is responsible and liable for safe management of their fuel, including storage and dispensing, both on-site or where the fuel or oil is being used.
We can provide you with information to ensure you comply with regulations. On farm advice and fuel site appraisal is also available, at your request.
