Petroleum

The original company was started in 1946 by Tom Wealleans.  In 1967 Wealleans procured a distribution agreement with the Atlantic Petrol company to service the rural farm fuel requirements of farmers and small contractors in the Matamata area.

In 1995 Wealleans Petroleum Distributors Ltd, was formed as a full line Mobil Wholesale distributor.

 

A strong affiliation and understanding of our rural customer’s requirements has enabled Wealleans Petroleum to offer direct sales of delivered fuels and lubricants to an expanded area of rural clients from the Kaimai ranges in the north, Matamata, Karapiro, Tokoroa and both sides of Lake Taupo, to Turangi in the south.

 

Today a modern tanker fleet of 4 trucks service between 80 and 95 of the farmers and contractors in our distribution area.

 

With a service and support team set up to provide:

 

  • New or used farm storage solutions
  • Expert advice on appropriate oil requirements
  • Distribution/Delivery of bulk fuel - REGULAR MONTHLY run to top up farm tank  or  ON CALL  substantial deliveries 
  • Card services

Our terms are:  20th of the month following every delivery

PETROL REBATES

 

Quarterly Reports of Volume are available to assist applications for rebates (Government Excise Duty).

On farm fuel pricing will be reviewed weekly – EACH FRIDAY

 

 

 

 

 

CARDS

 

Fuel and oil only, applications and account management for both Mobil Wealleans Fuel Card and Shell Card facilities.

Ask us about your fuel storage requirements, we can assist you with new and used fuel storage tanks in the range of sizes. 

 

Also available, we sell: Home heat tanks; Bulk Tanks; Ute Tanks; Trailer Tanks for Diesel.

 

All tanks will be DELIVERED AND INSTALLED by our specialist, to OSH Standards (Occupational Safety and Health).

SAFETY ADVICE

 

Under Government regulations, everybody is responsible and liable for safe management of their fuel, including storage and dispensing, both on-site or where the fuel or oil is being used. 

We can provide you with information to ensure you comply with regulations.  On farm advice and fuel site appraisal is also available, at your request.
