Otorohanga Groundspread

As a youngster, Managing Director, Bruce Turner started his driving career knocking around in the Wealleans workshop in Hinuera.

His move to the Otorohanga area in the late 70’s, enabled the Wealleans team to set up a ground spreading operation dedicated to servicing the local farming cliental in the greater King Country area. A 50/50 partnership between Bruce and N.T. Wealleans Ltd formed Otorohanga Groundspread in 1985.

Servicing the greater King Country area from its Mair Street base, OGS has a modern fleet of specialised groundspreading vehicles. Its purpose built 4x4 twin spinner blower units are ideally suited to handle the terrain around its Otorohanga base that stretches south from Te Awamutu to Taumarunui and out towards the Kawhia cost.

Bruce’s dedication to his loyal client base and acquired local knowledge passed on to his driving staff and support team mean that today, Otorohanga Groundspread’s philosophy is still very much focused on servicing the local farming cliental that prompted Bruce’s move back in the 70’s.
