Karaka Bulk Spreaders
A northern expansion of the traditional areas serviced by the Wealleans Morrinsville and Hinuera operations resulted in the formation of Karaka Bulk Spreaders Ltd in 1994.
N.T. Wealleans Ltd purchased the existing ground spread business formally operated by Herks in Papakura and strengthened that operation basing vehicles at Netherton to the south and Tuakau to the west also formalizing its operation from its present location opposite the New Zealand bloodstock facility at Karaka.
The ability to service the growing lifestyle and thoroughbred stud market in and around the Karaka area combined with the more traditional cropping clients of Pukekohe south forms the mainstay of the Karaka operation.
