Bulk Cartage

Formed out of the necessity to feed fertiliser and lime products to a growing number of groundspreading trucks and bulk storage sheds. Wealleans Bulk Transportation - now comprises eight modern truck and trailer units carting maximum payloads around the North Island.

From its dispatch depots in Matamata and Mt Maunganui, the transportation manager correlates the requirements of the Wealleans Group's spreading and storage facilities and ensures product is delivered to the required site promptly and efficiently reducing down time for groundspreading vehicles and eliminating uneconomic product shortfalls.

Operating closely with strategic subcontractors has allowed back loading efficiencies and the opportunity to develop markets with external clients.

Wealleans Bulk Transport have the ability to handle a wide range of additional cartage contracts with specific skills enhanced around the rural market and the philosophy of the parent group to provide a complete service.

Air strip and farm bin cartage, Grain, Race rock, animal feeds and chicken litter are regularly carted by the Bulk units as well as the thousands of tonnes of fertiliser and lime products needed by the groundspreading fleet.
